Directions

The Baltimore Ethical Society is located at 306 West Franklin Street. (Rt. 40 west) in the heart of Baltimore between Howard and Eutaw Streets, three blocks west of the main branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library. The light rail stops one-half block away on Howard Street, and the Metro is two blocks south on Eutaw Street.

From the North, and Northwest: Get on I-695 toward I-83. Take I-83 south. Exit at St. Paul St. St. Paul splits at Centre Street. Bear to the right. Turn right on Franklin St. and proceed 4 blocks west (US 40 west).

From the East, (Middle River, Essex, etc.): Head west on Eastern Blvd. (MD 150). Merge onto Martin Blvd. Merge onto US 40 west and continue through downtown Baltimore. 306 West Franklin is about 9 miles from the US 40 merge.

From the West (Catonsville, Ellicott City, etc.): Take the Baltimore National Pike (US 40) east. Follow signs for US 40 east into downtown Baltimore. Baltimore National Pike becomes Edmonson Avenue at the Baltimore City Line. Bear to the right onto W. Mulberry St. (US 40 east). Turn left onto Park Avenue. Turn left onto West Franklin Street, and proceed 1 block west (US 40 west).

From the Southwest (Columbia, DC, etc.): Take I-95 north toward Baltimore. Merge onto I-395 north via exit #53 toward Downtown, Inner Harbor. Take Martin Luther King Blvd. exit. Turn right onto W. Mulberry St. (US 40 East). Turn left onto Park Avenue Street. Turn left onto West Franklin Street, and proceed one block west (US 40 west). Alternate route: Take I-95 north to Exit 53 (I-395, Downtown, Inner Harbor). Turn right at Conway Street. Turn left on Charles Street. Turn left at Franklin Street. Proceed three blocks west.

From the Southeast (Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Severna Park, etc.). Take I-97 north. Merge onto I-695 west via exit 17A toward Baltimore/Towson. Merge onto MD 295 North via exit # 7B toward Baltimore. Turn right onto West Mulberry St. (US 40 east). Turn left onto Park Avenue. Turn left onto West Franklin Street, and proceed 1 block west (US 40 west).
