Sunday School

The Baltimore Ethical Society provides child care and educational activities for children of all ages. The children remain with the adults for the first part of the program, which includes a story for the children and the child in all of us, and a song. They go to their Sunday School room after the song.

Sunday School activities include stories, conversations about the stories, ethical instruction, self-expression in arts and crafts, singing and music, games, and free time. The ethical instruction covers a variety of subjects including human diversity, awareness of the needs and feelings of others, comparative religion, fair play and social justice, teamwork and cooperation, environmental and social responsibility, and ethical decision making. Currently, supervision and instruction are being provided by Ethical Society volunteers. At the present time, Sunday School is not available during the summer.
